Finding the right help

Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. A room can offer a place to rest, but a hotel cannot replace emergency services, medical care, a domestic violence advocate, or crisis support. You do not have to explain your circumstances to use these resources.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you need urgent medical care, call 911 or go to an emergency department. Our goal is to offer a safe, welcoming place to stay once the immediate need is addressed.

• Domestic abuse or relationship violence: National Domestic Violence Hotline, 800-799-7233. Advocates can discuss options and safety planning.
• Emotional distress or suicidal crisis: call or text 988, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
• Sexual assault: RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline, 800-656-4673.

If someone may monitor your device or browser use, consider using a device and contact method you trust. The Hotline has digital safety guidance.

Safe Place is a proposed short-stay program, with stays of up to 21 nights at most where appropriate; it is not long-term housing, emergency shelter, or available for booking today.
